Rates Schedule
The following rate schedule is effective January 1, 2010. Rates are broken into classes of residential, commercial, motel, condominium, restaurant, and yard meters.
Your utility bill will identify the number of gallons used for the period of service. A monthly base charge is applied to all active accounts. Additional charges are applied for each additional 1,000 gallons of water consumed thereafter.

Wastewater
Unlike water, wastewater is an unmetered service. Therefore, the sewer bill is based upon a base charge and water usage.

- Residential Customer Class Wastewater Volumetric Charge
- Capped at 20,000 gallons per month.
Commercial, Motel, and Restaurant Class
All flow $1.87 per 1,000 gallons.
Residential: Single family detached, single family attached (townhouses, duplexes, tri-plexes), Mobile homes, individually metered apartments.
Condominium: Condominium, master metered apartment.
Hotel/ Motel: Hotels, motels, campgrounds.
Commercial: All commercial operations except restaurants and including public restrooms and shower areas.
Restaurant: Restaurants
Yard Meters: Water service used exclusively for irrigation or car/boat washing and metered separately from other uses. Yard meters will no longer be issued.
Reclaimed Water for Irrigation (where available) is billed at rate of $.30 per 1,000 gallons.
Membership fee: Each meter connection is required to have on file a $30.00 membership fee which is refundable at the time service is disconnected.
Deposit: Each residential meter connection is required to have a $50.00 deposit on file. Commercial meter connection deposit are dependent upon the type of service and size of water meter requested.
Bill Due Date Bills are due the 10th of each month. Bills not paid by the 10th are charged a ten percent penalty.
Reconnection Charge: A service disconnected for non payment will be charged a $35.00 fee.
After Hours Charge: Service connected after 4:30 p.m. will be charged a $40.00 fee.
Service Charges: A $10.00 administrative charge will be charged for the following:
- a. Initial turn on for service by 12:00 p.m.
- b. Normal disconnection of service.
- c. Temporary inactive request: Customer will pay base charges during this period
- d. Reread fee: first reading is free, and if reading is incorrect no charge.
A $20.00 administrative charge will be charged for the following
Account transfer fee: service transferred from one location to another within our service area.
A $25.00 administrative charge will be charged for the following:
Initial turn on for same day service requested after 12:00 p.m.
A $40.00 administrative charge will be charged for any after hours services.
RETURN CHECK CHARGE - $30.00
After 3 return checks within a one year period account will be placed on a cash only
basis.
